She Built NYC is holding an open call for NYC based artists to commission public art works to honor four trailblazing women (Katherine Walker, Billie Holiday, Elizabeth Jennings Graham and Dr. Helen Rodríguez Trías) whose extraordinary contributions forever changed New York City.
To qualify you must be a professional visual artist or artist team, working in any and all media, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and who are at least 18 years of age, are eligible to apply. Deadline to apply is December 31,2024.
