Biboum Bassy was born in ESEKA, Cameroon. After he graduated he came to Montreal (Canada) to continue his studies.

During a trip to Gabon in 1996, he came across a Master Sculptor who introduced him to his stone sculpture technique and he’s been perfecting his craft ever since. Over time by using his creativity and imagination, the concept of mixing the stone-craft with more noble material like ebony wood and Padauk to make unique sculptures.

Most of his sculptures and art pieces are based on the African way of life.
